Barbaresco Docg

Obtained from a careful selection of Nebbiolo grapes. A wine for connoisseurs, linear and complex in the nose, the refinement in wooden barrels gives it spicy and mint flavours, rich in the mouth, “tough” with light tannin when young, pleasantly dry in the finale. Very good with matured cheese, boiled meat according to the traditional recipes of Piedmont and small game.
Colour: deep ruby red when young, tending to brick red while ageing.
Flavour: austere, neat, typical with wide wooden tones.
Savour: dry, warm, when young it shows noble tannins tending to become weaker while ageing.
Serving temperature: 18 – 20 °.
